Swiss watches have consistently surpassed all global standards on their way to being a traditional leader in the watch industry. WIKA innovates on this level of excellence by featuring a pressure gauge movement known as "Swiss Movement" in many of our pressure gauge models. Gauges with "Swiss Movement" are among the most precise, reliable, and rugged ones on the market.

What is Swiss Movement?

A WIKA subsidiary in Switzerland engineers and manufacturers gauges that feature "Swiss Movement" technology, but more than the location gives the movement its name. A pressure gauge "movement" refers to the internal mechanical components typically comprised of gears, linkages, and/or springs. The primary purpose of a movement is to be the driving force that converts pressure applied to a gauge to the output of the gauge pointer.

Swiss-made movements provide higher accuracy, smoother pointer travel, and longer life than any of its closest competitor products.
